Davido whose real name is David Adedeji Adeleke is a popular household name in the Nigerian music industry. Because he was born in America, he possesses both Nigerian and American citizenship.

Davido came to notoriety with his highly accepted ‘Dami Duro’ single which he released in 2012. The song was taken off from his debut album dubbed ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ which was published in the same year. The second track in that album is his popular song ‘Dami Duro’.

All of this were done under his former record label ‘HKN’ which he jointly founded with his elder brother. DMW record label later became his settlement as the CEO for all his latest songs.
